condenZero is a spin-off of the physics department at the University of Zurich. The team develops and produces scientific sample holders operating at low temperatures (ca. -270°C). Its novel cooling principle was initially developed for experiments at the Swiss Free Electron Laser (SwissFEL) at the Paul Scherrer Institut PSI. In its startup phase, the team is focusing on launching their new technology into the cryo-electron microscopy market. Their technology’s capability to be miniaturised and to hold cryogenic temperatures for up to 24 hours (instead of 15 min with current cryo-microscopy solutions), addresses highly desired specifications from a large and growing market.

MYLEG is an unique device that restores sensory information about the prosthesis touch and movement through non-invasive electrical stimulation of the remaining skin of the patient. The device does not need a surgery to be used and can be added to the currently available commercial prostheses. Our long-term vision is to improve mobility, cardiovascular fatigue and prosthesis cognitive integration, in people with leg amputation where they matter the most to them, during their daily life.

The construction industry is one of the most pollutant, resource and energy intensive sectors in the world. Oxara was founded with the aim of redefining the construction industry by transforming waste into resources for sustainable and affordable construction and promoting the circular economy. To this end, Oxara has developed and patented various mineral additives for the production of sustainable and affordable building materials to significantly reduce the immense footprint of conventional building materials.
