MoleSense develops molecular wearables for pregnancy: sensor patches continuously monitor biochemical and biophysical markers and link them to biology-aware AI. This enables earlier detection of risks, improved diagnoses and fewer complications – remotely, non-invasively and predictively. As an EPFL spin-off, MoleSense is advancing preventive maternity medicine and integrating the technology into clinical processes. The goal: less stress and lower costs.

NovoNexile develops flowable, instant-setting bone and tissue fillers as well as membranes (NovoOSS, NovoMEM) for targeted regeneration. The paste-like materials can be inserted into any defect in a minimally invasive and precise manner, adapt to the shape and harden stably. This shortens procedures, reduces tissue trauma and promotes the formation of natural bone. The technology serves as a platform (Synmatrix) – currently used primarily in dentistry and oral surgery, but with potential for further applications in the future.

VAULTED builds prefabricated concrete ceilings that save a lot of material thanks to a clever, arched rib design. This means that significantly less concrete and steel are needed, reducing weight and CO₂ emissions. The elements are produced in the factory, assembled on site and can later be dismantled and reused. This makes new buildings and renovations faster, cheaper and noticeably more sustainable.
