Pain or discomfort during a gynecological exam? Is that really necessary? We say: absolutely not—and we’ve developed a solution to this problem. At the heart of it is the vaginal speculum: a gynecological instrument that has remained virtually unchanged for nearly 200 years and continues to make the exam doctor-centered rather than patient-friendly. The traditional method of having the speculum inserted by a healthcare provider often increases tension and a sense of loss of control. While other unpleasant medical experiences have long since been reevaluated, time seems to have stood still in gynecology. With the PEA Speculum, Peva Project is developing a new generation of gynecological examination instruments. The Peva Project stands for a new generation of medical products—developed with a focus on self-determination, patient comfort, and sustainability. Our goal: to make the speculum more comfortable by fundamentally changing the way the exam is conducted. This defuses the most critical moment—the insertion of the speculum—and transforms a routine procedure into a more dignified, self-determined experience.

Swiss households overpay between 3,000 and 5,000 CHF annually due to outdated contracts in areas such as mobile service, internet, and insurance. The reasons include a lack of overview, time constraints, missed cancellation deadlines, and complex switching processes. Traditional comparison platforms are also fragmented and cover only certain areas. Savely is a Swiss platform for the digital management and optimization of recurring consumer contracts (Contract Lifecycle Management Platform). Users enter their contracts, which are automatically analyzed and compared with current market offers. An algorithm evaluates relevant contract attributes and suggests better alternatives at the optimal time, taking cancellation deadlines into account. In addition to comparison, Savely also enables active renegotiation with existing providers (retention). Providers can match offers before a switch takes place. If the customer decides to switch, the process is handled entirely digitally with a single click. The dashboard is automatically updated, and the potential savings are realized.
